Tunis

A hub of intellectual exchange, and a celebration of everything that make this region extraordinary.

Tunis

Columbia Global Center Tunis serves as a launchpad for students and scholars to investigate, learn, and engage, where local and global minds come together to explore education, health, culture, and social sciences. With a stunning mix of landscapes and a kaleidoscope of traditions, Tunisia is a living classroom — a place where culture, history, and diversity come alive.

From the ancient powerhouse of Carthage to the holy city of Kairouan to the modern dynamic culture, Tunis has long shaped cultures and ideas across the region for centuries.

Whether through collaborative research, hands-on fieldwork, or public programs such as lectures, workshops, and forums, the Tunis Center is building bridges between regions, disciplines, and perspectives.
