A series of presentations and a poster session spotlight the cross-disciplinary work of Columbia's Center for Political Economy.

A day of presentations and a poster session will spotlight Columbia’s Center for Political Economy, a cross-disciplinary site that deepens thinking about political economy and promotes developments within economics by connecting it to, among other fields, history, law, anthropology, political science, sociology, public health, and engineering.

The showcase will bring the Center's projects, themes, and opportunities into focus through a series of presentations from its faculty grant recipients and a poster session led by its graduate student grant recipients.

Schedule

  • 9 a.m.: Registration and breakfast (registration will take place in the West Atrium of the ground floor, and breakfast will be available in the Foyer)
  • 9:30 a.m.: Opening remarks
  • 10 a.m. to noon: Works-in-progress session with faculty grantees
  • noon to 12:30 p.m.: Lunch break
  • 12:30 to 1:40 p.m.: Poster session with graduate student grantees
