Columbia Giving Day officially takes place on October 21, but you don’t have to wait — gifts can be made starting October 9. Every donation fuels education, sparks groundbreaking research, and strengthens communities worldwide.

This Giving Day, your support powers three key priorities:
Expanding global education
Columbia students don’t just study the world — they step into it. Whether it’s a semester in Paris, a summer in Athens, or or exploring urban development in Nairobi, our programs through Undergraduate Global Engagement (UGE) turn the globe into a classroom. With each journey, students gain perspective, resilience, and the tools to navigate global complexity — and to lead.
Cultivating changemakers
Ideas spark change when they move beyond the classroom. At the Committee on Global Thought (CGT), scholars tackle the questions reshaping our future — from inequality to democracy to climate. Through the Social Impact Fellowship at Columbia World Projects (CWP), undergraduate students roll up their sleeves to co-design solutions to tackle urgent issues alongside communities — from public health to climate resilience. These are the next generation of changemakers — and your support helps their ideas take root.
