Seventy-five years ago, the world made a promise to protect the millions of displaced people. Is it still keeping it?

We are excited to announce Displacement in a Changing World: Global Dialogue Across Campus and Continents, the event series bridging perspectives on forced displacement from Columbia and its worldwide network, is returning to campus this fall.

Through lectures, conferences, and workshops, the series will continue Columbia Global's ongoing work to advance research, education, innovation, and opportunities for displaced scholars and students.

Bringing together leading scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and people with lived experience, the events will address how today's world order is impacting displacement — and how institutions, communities, and individuals are responding.

Explore displacement events, initiatives, and resources.
