The Center for Political Economy is hosting a scholarly discussion on alternative approaches to moving beyond capitalism, featuring Katharina Pistor, Edwin B. Parker Professor of Comparative Law and Center co-director, who recently published the book "The Law of Capitalism and How to Transform It". The panel will also include Aaron Benanav, assistant professor in the Department of Global Development at Cornell University, who has recently written essays in the New Left Review entitled "Beyond Capitalism", and Columbia professors Suresh Naidu (Economics) and Jeremy Kessler (Law).
